Dr. Jon-Jon Santiago, Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer and Co-Founder of Intrinsic Analytics Inc., received his B.Sc. (Honours) in Biochemistry and M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Cardiovascular Physiology from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Manitoba. In 2012, Dr. Santiago co-founded Intrinsic Analytics and since then, he has developed occupational health screening and disease preventative programs such as the lung surveillance program for regulated industries that meets and exceeds provincial regulations and guidelines. In addition, he is involved in directing the company’s research and scientific projects including the development of novel assays for personal health; and innovative workplace solutions to support health and safety of workers. Dr. Santiago has been invited to speak at health and safety conferences such as the Incident Prevention Association of Manitoba and MFL Occupational Health Centre regarding best practices for occupational health testing. He has over 15 years of laboratory experience and over 7 years of business and professional experience.
