Dr. Waylon Hunt, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Intrinsic Analytics Inc., received his B.Sc. (Major) in Microbiology and Ph.D. in Pharmacology & Therapeutics from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Manitoba. Since 2012, Dr. Hunt has guided the development and implementation of federally and provincially regulated occupational health programs to ensure regulated industries and industry partners can appropriately ensure the health and safety of workers; most notably, workers who are exposed to hazardous work environments or who work in safety sensitive positions. In addition, Dr. Hunt has consulted on the development of occupational health testing programs and policies for numerous commercial enterprises and small business clients to help them provide superior health and safety programs for their workers while remaining compliant with regulations and privacy laws. Dr. Hunt has been an invited speaker to the Law Society of Manitoba and has provided expert opinions for legal proceedings regarding drug and alcohol testing in the workplace. He has over 10 years of laboratory experience and over 20 years of business and professional experience; including involvement with business start-ups, franchises, and finance.
