CSAM

The Construction Safety Association of Manitoba (CSAM) is a non-profit organization run by and for the building construction industry in Manitoba. First established in 1989, CSAM is a recognized leader in improving workplace safety. CSAM provides education, training and consulting services that support safe incident prevention and is the authority having jurisdiction for the National COR™/SECOR™ Certification Program. The association is driven to strengthen the culture of safety in Manitoba’s building construction industry by providing members with practical, relevant, right-sized solutions to prevent workplace injury and illness. The Construction Safety Association of Manitoba works collaboratively with partners in industry and government to deliver these outcomes.

MANITOBA CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE

Manitoba Chambers of Commerce (MCC), since 1931, has served as the umbrella association for Manitoba’s action-oriented chamber movement. Today, with 64 local Chambers of Commerce across the province and hundreds of direct corporate members, our network comprises almost 10,000 organizations of all sizes and across all sectors. MEIA

Since 1991, the Manitoba Environmental Industries Association (MEIA) has been working to advance environmental and clean technology opportunities in Manitoba through networking, education and support for its members. MEIA is also the provincial Sector Council for the Natural Resources, Energy and Environment Sector in Manitoba, supporting industry growth and workforce development. MEIA is a trusted information and opportunity hub equipping the natural resource, energy and environment industries in Manitoba to:
• stay current on governmental policy and legislation
• increase their knowledge of environmental practices
• gain essential business growth and development insight

MHCA

Founded in 1943, the Manitoba Heavy Construction Association (MHCA) is the recognized voice of the heavy construction industry in Manitoba. Guided by our vision and mandate, we promote sustainable municipal infrastructure development, sustained investment in core infrastructure, and seamless, multi-modal transportation systems. The MHCA also runs and supports the WORKSAFELY Education and Training program.

MANITOBA METIS FEDERATION

The Manitoba Metis Federation (MMF) is the official democratic and self-governing representative for the Métis Nation’s Manitoba Métis Community. The MMF provides resources and programs to its Citizens to support socio-economic growth and sustainability, while protecting the rights and interests of the Métis in Manitoba. Founded in 1967, the Federation is the reemergence of the resistance to the systemic oppression and injustice that the Métis people have endured and is the driving force in which Métis Nation regains their place as rights-bearing people in Manitoba’s history and future.

Youth BioLab Jeunesse

Youth BIOlab Jeunesse at the St. Boniface Hospital Albrechtsen Research Centre is a space for students and teachers to explore and experience real biomedical science in a world-class research centre.

The Youth BioLab works with teachers, schools and school divisions to develop programming that meets the needs of classroom teachers. Since 2005, St. Boniface Hospital Research has worked in partnership with the Louis Riel School Division through the It’s All About Me program, which has provided hands-on medical science experiences in classrooms to over 50,000 students. With the opening of the Youth BIOlab Jeunesse lab facility in 2013, the initiative reached to a total of 75,000 students from across Manitoba, enhancing their ability to provide authentic science experiences to youth.
